My Job

So, here's what I do for a living: I work at a national accrediting council called ACICS. The job is split into two parts: the office and the road. During part 1 I assemble teams of qualified people from various academic fields to evaluate our member schools, which are career colleges like ITT Tech. This is my March, April, July, August, November and December. Part 2 is where I take these teams of people to glamorous locales such as Fort Wayne, Indiana, to review the schools, but also make sure they enjoy themselves enough to want to do the whole thing again the next time around. This is my January, February, May, June, September and October. I'm a travel agent, entertainer, resource person, valet, fact-checker and report editor rolled into one.
